The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek placed the Editor-in-Chief of NazarNews.kg Gulzhan Sheripbaeva under house arrest. The press service of the court reported.
The request to change the preventive measure came from an investigator of the Main Criminal Investigation Division of the State Committee for National Security.
Gulzhan Sheripbaeva will be under house arrest until January 15, 2024.
On November 18, by the decision of the investigative judge of the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek, a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period until January 15, 2024 was chosen for her. A criminal case was opened against Gulzhan Sheripbaeva under the article «Incitement of racial, ethnic, national, religious, interregional hostility (discord)» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
