Bishkek resident sells drugs, organizes drug den in his apartment

A suspect was detained in Bishkek for the illegal manufacture of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues for sale. The press service of the Central Internal Affairs Department of the capital reported.

According to it, the State Service on Drug Control received information about a den of drug addicts in Oktyabrsky district.

The investigative service of the Internal Affairs Department of the district opened a criminal case under Article 282 «Illegal manufacture of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues for the purpose of sale» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

«Synthetic drug Alpha PVP was bought from the suspect,» the police department noted.

During a search of the man’s home, two heat shrinks, devices pre-filled with Alpha PVP (20-30 doses) were found.

«In addition, there were drug users in the apartment. They told that the man had been selling drugs to them for a long time and provided his housing for their use. The seized substances were packaged, sealed and sent for forensic chemical testing,» the department reported.

The man was placed in the temporary detention center of the Central Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek.
