The President of Kyrgyzstan instructed the Military Prosecutor’s Office to conduct an investigation into the killing of the crime boss Kamchi Kolbaev. He said this in an interview with Kabar news agency.
Sadyr Japarov noted that he learned about the happened from the Internet and immediately called the Prosecutor General Kurmankul Zulushev.
«I told him to take the military prosecutor with him, go to the place and give information about what happened. He went, called me and said that there was a shootout, there was a dead person and injured,» the head of state said.
According to him, the Military Prosecutor’s Office conducts investigation to find out whether the special operation of the State Committee for National Security was carried out legally.
«An investigation is underway. We’ll wait for the results,» Sadyr Japarov added.
The crime boss Kamchi Kolbaev was eliminated during a special operation in Bishkek on October 4. The press center of the SCNS reported that the leader of the organized crime group was detained, who offered armed resistance during detention and was killed.
