The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan issued a weather alert.
Unstable weather is expected in Kyrgyzstan on October 13-15.
Rain is forecast in Chui, Talas, Osh, Jalal-Abad, Batken, Naryn regions on October 13, which will turn into snow in the foothills of Chui and Talas regions, and snow — in the mountainous areas.
Precipitations will be intense in some places. Wind gusts of up to 15-20 meters per second are possible.
Frosts down to −2 degrees Celsius are expected at night; the air temperature will drop to −13 degrees in mountainous areas.
In Chui, Talas, Issyk-Kul, Naryn regions the air will warm up to only +10 degrees, in the valley zone of Osh, Jalal-Abad, Batken regions — up to +16 degrees.
Unstable weather will complicate the grazing of livestock on pastures, operation of vehicles, work of communications enterprises, energy and utility services. Frosts are also dangerous for fruit and vegetable crops.
