Kyrgyzstani Aziz Umarbekov won a silver medal in chess among the head judges at the Asian Games. The Chess Union of the Kyrgyz Republic reported on Instagram.

«In a struggle among 35 head judges, including international masters, FIDE masters and Arena grandmasters, Aziz Umarbekov was able to rise from the 11^th starting position after seven rounds to the second line of the final table, making only two draws, like the tournament winner. But he lost on additional indicators,» the Union noted.
