Mother suspected of killing her two-year-old son in Alamedin district

A woman and her partner were detained on suspicion of killing a two-year-old child in Alamedin district. The Central Internal Affairs Department of Chui region reported.

A message was received on September 28 that the boy, 2, died of unknown reasons.

When the investigative team visited Kok-Zhar residential area, bodily injuries received from beatings were found on the child’s body.

The fact was registered and a criminal case was initiated under Article 122 «Murder» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. According to the medical examiner’s certificate, the death was caused by grievous bodily injuries and hepatorrhexis.

The boy’s 22-year-old mother and her 27-year-old partner were detained as suspects. He is a citizen of a foreign country. Both were placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigation is ongoing.
