A computer tomography center was opened in the General Medical Practice Center of Kadamdzhai district of Batken region within the framework of Public Private Partnership (PPP) project. The press center of the Ministry of Health reported.
The ministry noted that 25,000 people live in the district, previously they had to go to other cities to get CT scanning services.
«Under the PPP project, major repairs have been made and premises in health care organizations have been equipped. Modern computed tomography machines with the latest Neusoft Medical Systems medical equipment have been installed. Three such centers were opened earlier — two in Bishkek and one in Balykchy,» the ministry reported.
The cost of services at the new center will be lower than at private clinics. The total investment amounted to $5 million, and the project will be implemented within 15 years with the participation of an investor.
