Foreign citizens who committed crimes in Uzbekistan detained in Bishkek

Foreign citizens, who were previously wanted for crimes committed in Uzbekistan, were detained with the help of facial recognition cameras in Bishkek. Press service of the Main Internal Affairs Department reported.

According to it, a man, 40, was captured by a facial recognition camera in Osh market. Criminal cases were initiated against him in his homeland under the following articles 169 «Theft» and 227 «Seizure, destruction, damage or concealment of documents, stamps, seals, forms, state license plates of motor vehicles and their trailers» of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan. He was put on the wanted list.

Another man, 45, who was wanted for tax evasion, was detained together with him.

Both were placed in the temporary detention center of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek, later they will be transported under guard to Uzbekistan.
