120 Russian teachers start working in schools of Kyrgyzstan

At least 120 Russian teachers have started working in schools of Kyrgyzstan since September 1. The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation reported.

The teachers started working in Kyrgyz educational institutions as part of the Russian Teacher Abroad project.

They will teach children in 51 schools.

According to the Deputy Minister Denis Gribov, implementation of the Power of the Mind project will continue. Its main task is to popularize physics and mathematics education abroad. Classes are conducted by Russian teachers; lessons are held in Russian as part of an additional educational program.

Recall, the Presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Russia launched the construction of three schools on the Day of Knowledge. The ceremony of laying capsules for the construction of educational institutions in Bishkek, Batken and Karakol took place. Construction itself will begin in 2024. It is planned to build three schools annually. The first three will be commissioned in 2025.
