SCNS detains another school director for taking money from parents

Another school director was detained in Bishkek. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.

Despite the fact that the collection of money from students and their parents is prohibited, he organized a scheme for taking money for the admission and transfer of schoolchildren.

«Money on the urgent recommendation of the school administration in a voluntary-coercive manner in the form of sponsor assistance in the amount from 30,000 to 100,000 soms was deposited to the settlement account of a public association created for these purposes. When handing over documents confirming the transfer of money in the amount of 40,000 soms to the settlement account, the director of one of the capital’s schools was detained and taken to the temporary detention center of the SCNS,» the SCNS said.

One more director of capital’s school was detained while taking a bribe. According to the SCNS, the head of the educational institution demanded money for enrollment of children in the first grade.
