Director for Sanctions of the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office David Reed met with the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Ulan Dzhusupov last week in London. Press service of the British Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic reports.
A constructive conversation took place, during which the parties discussed the importance of relations between Kyrgyzstan and the UK, sanctions against Russia and bilateral cooperation to combat circumvention of the restrictions.
«This meeting took place after David Reed’s visit to Kyrgyzstan in April this year, during which he discussed compliance with sanctions with the government of the country and representatives of local businesses. Working contacts on this issue continue,» the statement says.
