Officials of Kyrgyzstan approve 2023/2024 school year calendar

The academic year in all educational institutions, regardless of the type and form of ownership, will begin in Kyrgyzstan on September 1 and will end on May 25. Press service of the Ministry of Education and Science reported.

The schedule of school breaks has also been approved.

• In autumn, children will rest from November 6 to November 10. Classes will start on Monday, November 13.
• Winter break will be from January 1 to January 14. Classes will start on January 15.
• Spring break will be from March 21 to March 31. Classes will start on April 1.

Spring break will be extended by one extra week in the third term for the first grade students.
