The first batches of medicines and medical devices purchased by Kyrgyzfarmatsiya state enterprise for state healthcare organizations began to arrive in Kyrgyzstan. Press center of the Ministry of Health reported.
The ministry recalled that the state-owned enterprise received funding of 1 billion soms for the purchase of medicines on June 21.
«The first deliveries began already in July within the framework of the High Technology and Centralized Activities Fund of the Ministry of Health, as well as some medicines outside these funds. Medicines have been delivered for the National Phthisiology Center, the National Hospital, the National Center for Maternal and Child Welfare, as well as other secondary healthcare organizations,» the ministry said.
The Ministry of Health added that the country started receiving chemotherapy drugs under the largest contract (about 227 million soms) for treatment of oncological diseases from European manufacturers.
As part of the applications of the High Technology and Centralized Activities Fund of the Ministry of Health, conclusion of contracts is being completed, the supply of medicines and medical devices is on schedule.
«It is worth noting that about 250 million soms were saved when purchasing medicines within the framework of these funds and concluded contracts,» the ministry concluded.
Recall, Kyrgyzfarmatsiya state enterprise under the Ministry of Health was established on March 31.
