New buses to start running in Bishkek by September 15

New buses will start working in Bishkek by September 15. Press service of the City Hall reported.

The City Hall expects the first batch of 50 new passenger buses. They have already crossed the border with China.

«According to the schedule agreed with Zhongtong Bus, delivery of 450 more passenger buses is expected before the end of the year, the remaining 500 will arrive in the 1^st quarter of 2024,» the City Hall said.

The buses were purchased at the expense of the republican budget. Contract with Zhongtong Bus Holding Co., Ltd was signed on March 15.
