A drunk Kyrgyz woman beat her son in Moscow. She was detained. Eyewitnesses reported on social media.

According to them, the incident occurred in Khoroshevo-Mnevniki area.

«The boy is eight years old. He said that he and his mother came from Kyrgyzstan to Moscow. Mother drinks a lot of alcohol and, according to the child, beats him every day with a hair dryer cord. People called the police, and the woman fell asleep on the street. The child was taken by the police. The boy is very good, we want to find relatives who will help both him and his mother. The child should not live like this,» the witnesses said.

As the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported to 24.kg news agency, the Russian competent authorities have carried out relevant work on the fact.

The boy was placed in a specialized institution for minors in need of social rehabilitation in Moscow. Law enforcement agencies drew up a protocol in relation to the woman on detention for committing an administrative offense.

The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Russia, together with the representative office of the Ministry of Labor of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation, are working on the issue of the future fate of the child, as well as establishing contacts with his close relatives. The issue is under the control of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
