Wanted for murder Kazakhstani detained in Bishkek

Investigators detained a citizen of Kazakhstan, who was wanted in his homeland for a serious crime, in one of the hotels in Bishkek. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

The 31-year-old Kazakhstani was put on the wanted list for a murder committed by a group of people. In order to avoid criminal responsibility, he was hiding in the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Law enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan applied to the Main Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic with a request for assistance in the search and detention of the person hiding from the investigation authorities.

It was found out that the detainee is involved in the murder of a 28-year-old fitness trainer of a popular fitness club. The latter was shot dead on the night of July 17 in Almaty.

After that, the Nauryzbai District Police Department put the 31-year-old man on the wanted list, and the special Inter-District Investigation Court of Almaty city sanctioned his arrest in absentia. As it turned out, he had previously been prosecuted for a serious crime.

The detained citizen of Kazakhstan was taken into custody.
