Man died after being bitten by a dog in Chon-Alai district of Kyrgyzstan. Preliminary diagnosis is rabies. The Ministry of Health informed 24.kg news agency.
According to it, the man turned to the General Medical Practice Center of Chon-Alai district on July 19 with hydrophobia, photophobia, acousticophobia, and hallucinations. He also complained of headache, weakness, feeling of anxiety.
Upon admission, the man told the doctors that about 3 months ago, on a pasture, an unknown dog bit him on the arm. Based on clinical symptoms, he was diagnosed with rabies. The patient died on July 21. The Ministry of Health clarified that the final diagnosis can only be made based on the results of a forensic medical examination. They are not ready yet.
