Rescuers have been searching for a tourist who went missing on Semenov-Tian-Shansky Peak for ten days already. Press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The foreigner went missing in Ala-Archa gorge on July 14. He was climbing Semenov-Tyan-Shansky Peak.
Eight rescuers of Edelweiss team were conducting search operations on the north-western side of the peak on July 23, where an avalanche descended. The search was suspended due to melting of snow. The rescuers will continue their work today.
