Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov met with representatives of the country’s business community. Press service of the Cabinet reported.
During the meeting, Akylbek Japarov noted that the main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the existing problems and proposals. He also recalled that despite the events in the world, a high rate of economic growth has been registered in the country over the past two years. There is a tangible contribution by entrepreneurs.
«We all know that entrepreneurs are the driving force behind any economy. Your enterprises create and provide jobs, stimulate economic growth. Therefore, it is important for the Cabinet of Ministers to know what problems you are facing and what measures can be taken by the state to facilitate this process, as well as create a favorable business environment,» Akylbek Japarov said.
Both problematic issues and a number of proposals from representatives of the business community aimed at improving their interaction with government agencies were voiced at the meeting. Ideas for development of the agro-industrial complex, e-commerce, export of digital services, development of renewable energy sources, the textile and clothing industry were voiced.
«Representatives of the business community noted the tangible assistance of government agencies in terms of the adoption of relevant regulatory legal acts aimed at facilitating business and entrepreneurial activities. In addition, one of the main problems voiced by business representatives was the lack of competent specialists in the labor market and, in general, the problem of human resources.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that the support of human capital is one of the government’s priorities. He stressed that the state was ready to lend a shoulder to businessmen at the right time for them. In addition, the process is underway to change legislation and regulatory legal acts to digitalize customs procedures, taxation, as well as all public services.
«The state has risen to its feet, the country’s economy has confidently taken path for development, we are ready to provide all necessary assistance and support your business projects aimed at developing the country and providing new jobs,» Akylbek Japarov concluded.
