The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) detained two employees of the Judicial Department under the Supreme Court. Press center of the SCNS reported.
A technical supervision specialist and a chief specialist of the Judicial Department under the Supreme Court for Jalal-Abad region were detained on June 26.
The investigators established that the leadership of the Judicial Department for Jalal-Abad region, using official powers, entered into an agreement with representatives of one of the construction companies and entered into a deliberately unprofitable contract for contract work on the overhaul of the administrative building of the Mailuu-Suu City Court.
A comprehensive inspection revealed that the amount of work that was performed with gross violations of construction standards and the requirements of the relevant safety regulations was overstated.
«As a result of illegal actions of judicial officials, about 4 million soms were illegally withdrawn from the state budget (overstated volume of construction work),» SCNS noted.
The employees of the department were placed in the temporary detention facility. The investigation continues.
