An unknown man beat up a Canadian citizen in Bishkek. The victim Garg Virender told 24.kg news agency.

According to him, the incident occurred on June 16 at about 9 p.m. in the 10^th microdistrict of the capital.

«In the evening I walked near the house. I saw how a man began to beat another one, and a woman with a child was standing next to him. I asked if he needed help, and I was hit. I walked away, and was attacked later. When I regained consciousness, I had a head injury. We filed a statement to the police, a forensic medical examination was scheduled. I haven’t been interrogated yet,» Garg Virender told.

The police department of Oktyabrsky district of the capital confirmed this information to 24.kg news agency. According to the department, the fact was registered, and a pre-investigation check has begun.

«A forensic medical examination has been scheduled. The investigation is ongoing. It should be noted that the other side also filed a statement to the police,» the department said.
