The first stage of «Illegal Resident» operation is taking place in Russia from June 19 to June 25. It was agreed upon by the CSTO countries in March. The goal is to counter illegal migration. The Embassy of Kyrgyzstan commented on the operation of law enforcement agencies.
According to the press service of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, citing the diplomatic mission, such raids to check the compliance of foreign citizens with the Russian legislation in the field of migration are held regularly. Based on the results of inspections, only those persons who violated the rules of stay in the Russian Federation are brought to administrative responsibility.
The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Moscow calls on Kyrgyzstanis to clearly and strictly comply with Russian legislation in order to avoid negative consequences.
The Kyrgyz side, in cooperation with the Russian side, is working on the issues of simplifying the procedure for the stay of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic on the territory of the Russian Federation.
