The leaders of the countries discussed a wide range of issues of Kyrgyzstan — Germany bilateral and multilateral cooperation, prospects for the development of relations in all areas.
Frank-Walter Steinmeier is recognized in Kyrgyzstan as a friend, well-known politician and experienced specialist for Central Asia.

Frank-Walter Steinmeier thanked Sadyr Japarov for the invitation to pay an official visit to the republic. He stressed that Kyrgyzstan is a magnificent country, which he visits for the third time.
The President of Germany noted that diplomatic relations between the states are over 30 years old. Germany was among the first countries to recognize the independence of the Kyrgyz Republic.
«We have more than 30 years of stable, dynamically developing relations. Bilateral visits, which take place not only at the level of presidents, but also ministers of the two states, serve as proof. Germany is ready further to provide all kinds of support to Kyrgyzstan, to share experience in the field of renewable energy sources. Your republic has very good conditions for this,» Frank-Walter Steinmeier said.
