For violation of requirements of the legislation of Kyrgyzstan, the National Bank has imposed fines on four commercial banks for a total of 4 million soms since the beginning of 2023. The Deputy Head of the Banking Supervision Department of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic Emir Zhumaev said.
According to him, 62 inspections of the activities of commercial banks have been carried out since the beginning of 2023. Based on their results, 22 instructions and 17 warnings were issued.
At least 151 inspections of the activities of commercial banks were carried out last year. About 75 orders, 33 warnings and 14 recommendations were issued. In addition, fines were imposed on five commercial banks for a total of 55.8 million soms for violation of the requirements of the law.
