Smuggled medicines detained in south of Kyrgyzstan

A batch of contraband medicines was detained in Batken region of Kyrgyzstan. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.

«A car with license plate 03 KG 322 ADU, moving from Leilek district to Kadamdzhai, was stopped on June 9. During a search, medicines smuggled into Batken region were found in it. It was planned to sell the illegal cargo through local pharmacies and retail outlets,» the statement says.

Pre-trial check has begun. The car and the cargo were placed on a specialized parking lot. The possibility of transfer of the materials to the Customs Service for subsequent destruction of medicines is being considered.
