A system for identification of persons put on the interstate wanted list in the CIS countries has been launched on the territory of Kyrgyzstan since June 2. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

The data of the wanted criminals were downloaded into the system. Russian law enforcement agencies, for example, provided information on more than 85,000 wanted persons.

At least 57 people who are on the interstate wanted list in the CIS countries have been identified for just ten days. All of them were identified with the help of outdoor video surveillance cameras.

Citizens have been checked and registered. Four of them were detained. These are those wanted for attempted murder, extremist crimes (transferred to the State Committee for National Security), hooliganism, and forgery of documents. There are citizens of Russia and Uzbekistan among the detainees.

The main part of the wanted are citizens of Kyrgyzstan. They were put on the interstate wanted list on charges of committing various crimes in the CIS countries, including theft, fraud, forgery, robbery, extortion, kidnapping, fatal accidents, and intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm. Some of them were put on the wanted list eight or nine years ago.

Earlier it was reported about the detention of the defendant in Left Resistance criminal case Alyona Krylova. The girl was detained in the center of Bishkek on June 4 during a walk. A criminal case has been opened against her in Russia for participation in the activities of an extremist community.

Kyrgyzstan also deported to Russia a military activist Aleksey Rozhkov, who set fire to the military commissariat in the suburbs of Yekaterinburg in protest against the war in Ukraine.
