Term of house arrest of the former external manager of Kumtor Gold Company CJSC Tengiz Bolturuk has been extended. The Bishkek City Court informed 24.kg news agency.
Such a decision was made by the Oktyabrsky District Court of the capital.
«House arrest of Tengiz Bolturuk has been extended until July 10. He must not leave his place of residence from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.,» the court said.
Tengiz Bolturuk and Ryspek Toktogulov were dismissed from all the positions they held. It was reported that the Prosecutor General’s Office began a detailed check. It resulted in three criminal cases with preliminary damage to the state of 1 billion soms. As a result, the former external manager of Kumtor was detained and placed in the remand center of the State Committee for National Security until April 10, 2023. Tengiz Bolturuk himself does not admit his guilt. He stated that all the accusations were false. His lawyer says that the accused is ready to cooperate with the investigation. Tengiz Bolturuk and other defendants in the criminal case on corruption paid 844,512,858 soms.
