Green City Action Plan (GCAP) was discussed in Bishkek. Press service of the City Hall of the capital reported.
Key stakeholders from various sectors attended the event. The focus was on discussing the vision and strategic goals of the action plan, as well as developing a short list of critical transformational actions to ensure a sustainable future for the city.
«By agreeing on concepts, setting strategic goals and determining practical steps, Green City Action Plan will lay the foundation for a cleaner and livable city that benefits both residents and future generations,» the City Hall said.
The GCAP project is being implemented as part of the EBRD’s Green Cities program, which Bishkek City Hall joined in 2019. The program serves as a platform for cities to work with the EBRD and other stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable urban strategies leading to a greener and more sustainable future.
