Activities of a cell of Yakyn Inkar religious extremist movement were suppressed in Jalal-Abad. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.
«Four active members of Yakyn Inkar cell were detained on May 26 within the framework of a criminal case initiated under part 2 of Article 331 (creation and financing of extremist organizations) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. They were engaged in propaganda and dissemination of extremist ideology in Jalal-Abad and Suzak district, carrying out illegal missionary activities,» the statement says.
