Rise in prices on Russian stock exchange: Oil traders get recommendations

A working meeting was held with oil traders of Kyrgyzstan as part of the antimonopoly response in connection with changes in prices for fuels and lubricants in the wholesale sector of the Russian Federation. The Antimonopoly Regulation Service of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

Based on the results, the following recommendations were given to oil traders:

  • Strictly comply with the requirements of the law of the Kyrgyz Republic on Competition;
  • Promptly respond to changes in the situation in the domestic market of Kyrgyzstan;
  • Prevent a sharp increase in prices for fuels and lubricants and liquefied hydrocarbon gases;
  • Respond more quickly to requests from the Antimonopoly Regulation Service;
  • Ensure the necessary reserves of fuels and lubricants to saturate the market and prevent creation of a shortage of petroleum products;
  • Carry out work to control and prevent underfilling at gas stations.

According to Russian media, the cost of AI 95 gasoline on the stock exchange (as of May 24) rose to a record 61,800 rubles per ton.
