A new mayor of Talas city was appointed. Press service of the President reported.
Ermat Dzhumaev became the head of the city. Previously, he was the mayor of Karakol. In 2019, Dzhumaev worked at Zelenstroi municipal enterprise in Karakol.
His predecessor, Askar Shabdanov, was relieved of his post as mayor of Talas in connection with appointment to another position.
