The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) opened a criminal case on the fact of corruption in the implementation of the project for the construction of recreation centers for tourists. Timur Shabdanbekov, deputy chairman of the security services, announced at a meeting of Parliament.
According to him, as part of the criminal case searches were carried out on April 28 in the office of the Tourism Development Support Fund, as well as at the place of residence of the head of the Fund, Elena Kalashnikova. The corresponding decision was made by the investigating judge.
«During the search, financial documents relating to the construction of recreation centers were seized, as well as three passports of citizens of the Russian Federation and one international passport in the name of Kalashnikova. Analysis is being carried out, the necessary investigative measures are being taken,» Timur Shabdanbekov said.
