Smuggling of large batch of alcohol into Kyrgyzstan prevented

An attempt to illegally import alcohol into the republic was prevented at Aktilek-Avtodorozhny checkpoint. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan reported.

«Alcohol was imported by one of the business entities that does not have a permit from the authorized state body for its sale and storage in Kyrgyzstan. The offender’s vehicle was impounded. About 1,800 liters of alcohol were confiscated,» the statement says.

The State Committee for National Security, together with the Tax Service, checks the origin of the goods and all those involved in its smuggling.
