Underground waste storage project presented in Bishkek

The project of underground waste storage was presented in the capital of Kyrgyzstan. The site is located at the intersection of Razzakov and Kievskaya streets. Press service of the Bishkek City Hall reported.

The project is being implemented by the Turkish company Agency International Consulting LLC, which won the competition held by Tazalyk municipal enterprise.

«The introduction of modern technologies will make it possible to create a new waste collection and storage system, and improve the aesthetic appearance of city streets. There will be no garbage and smell from the decomposition of food waste near containers and sites. Most importantly, collection points will no longer be a place of accumulation of stray animals,» the City Hall noted.

It added that the project is under the control of the mayor of the capital Emilbek Abdykadyrov.
