Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev and Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), curator of the Digital Initiatives Fund Tigran Sargsyan discussed implementation of joint projects in Moscow. Press center of the bank reported.
«The parties discussed creation of an interdepartmental working group for the implementation of joint projects with the Digital Initiatives Fund. The priorities include digital solutions in the field of jewelry trade, mutual recognition of electronic digital signatures in the Eurasian space, development of the mobile application Work in the EAEU. Expansion of the capabilities of Travel without COVID-19 application was discussed separately, in particular, launch of a project on its basis to digitalize the process of medical examination of foreign citizens arriving in Russia,» the statement says.
Business initiatives in the areas of tourism and light industry were considered.
The head of the Kyrgyz delegation, Adylbek Kasymaliev, confirmed the interest of the Cabinet of Ministers in developing cooperation with the Digital Initiatives Fund. «We are grateful to the Cabinet of Ministers for prompt decision-making and consideration of initiatives. We launched a new phase of our partnership just over a month ago in Bishkek. And today we are discussing specific projects,» he stressed.
The EDB Digital Initiatives Fund was established in June 2020. The goal is to assist in the formation of tools and practices for the digital transformation of the EDB member states, including through the integration of information resources and participation in the development and financing of projects. The flagship project of the Digital Initiatives Fund is Travel without COVID-19 application, which has been successfully used in nine CIS countries.
