President Sadyr Japarov inspects Ak-Kula hippodrome

The President of Kyrgyzstan visited Ak-Kula hippodrome in Bishkek. His spokesman Erbol Sultanbaev reported.

Sadyr Japarov examined the hippodrome, got acquainted with its current state. He instructed to make proposals on the allocation of a land plot for the construction of a new modern hippodrome, as well as to consider the possibility of demolishing the existing one and building apartment buildings in its place to provide the population with preferential mortgage lending.

Earlier, the Bishkek City Hall stated that it was planned to offer Ak-Kula hippodrome to investors as a business project. Vice mayor of the capital Nurdan Oruntaev announced it at a parliamentary meeting. He noted that the area of the hippodrome is 60 hectares with stables on 5 hectares.
