A project has been launched in the capital to develop five residential areas Ak-Bosogo, Kalys-Ordo, Archa-Beshik, Bakai-Ata and Rukhiy-Muras. Press service of the Bishkek City Council reported.
According to it, Deputy Chairman of the Bishkek City Council Toktosun Sultanov discussed launch of the project with the institutional development specialists of the Cities Development Initiative for Asia (CDIA)Kathleen Jovellanos, Ainagul Amanova, senior specialist in urban development and natural resources of the ADB Resident Mission in the Kyrgyz Republic, and Guillaume Joss, the head of the consulting team.
At the meeting, the terms of reference of the project and the planned stages of work were presented. Specialists within 6-8 months will carry out research work and develop a feasibility study on the integrated development of the residential areas in order to make life in them more favorable and convenient for people. «These documents can later be used for submission to international donor organizations,» the Bishkek City Council added.
