The Ministry of Economy hopes that cars produced in Kyrgyzstan will be exported. Arslan Baziev, head of the department of the ministry, stated at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on the fuel and energy complex.
According to him, now officials are looking for a place for construction of the plant.
«Last week we received a delegation from Uzbekistan, they examined the sites. According to their plans, they intend to buy spare parts produced at their Nur plant. We provide them with tax benefits. Then the price of cars will be lower than in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. This will give an incentive to export,» said Arslan Baziev.
It should be noted that Uzavtosanoat JSC will be involved in the implementation of the project for the production of cars from the Uzbek side, and DT Technik LLC and Nur JSC — from Kyrgyz side.
