Freestyle wrestlers from Kyrgyzstan won three medals at a ranking wrestling tournament in Egypt. UWW website reports.
Ernazar Akmataliev (up to 70 kilograms) and Taiyrbek Zhumashbek uulu (up to 61 kilograms) took the first places, Bekzat Almaz uulu (up to 57 kilograms) won a bronze medal.
Ernazar Akmataliev defeated an athlete from the USA — 10-0, and Taiyrbek Zhumashbek uulu — an athlete from Ukraine.
Bekzat Almaz uulu defeated a wrestler from Armenia in the fight for the third place.
Kyrgyzstani Alibek Osmonov (up to 65 kilograms) lost consciousness during a fight at a ranking tournament in Egypt.
The national team of Kyrgyzstan in Greco-Roman wrestling took the third place, the women’s team — the fourth in the team standings.
