U.S. Embassy in Bishkek lights up its building in colors of Ukraine flag

The U.S. Embassy in Kyrgyzstan joined the Ukraine solidarity campaign.

February 24 marked the anniversary of Russia’s military operation in Ukraine. The U.S. Embassy decided to support Ukraine by lighting up its building in Bishkek in blue and yellow, the colors of the country’s flag.

«Today marks one year since Russia launched its brutal, full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Ambassador Viguerie and Ambassador Zhovtenko took a photo at the U.S. Embassy lit in blue and yellow to commemorate this date. Today and every day, we stand with Ukraine,» the Embassy stated on Friday.
