The Investigative Committee opened a case on the use of violence against a security official (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code) against a 32-year-old woman. Press service of the department reported.
According to investigators, on February 13, the suspect, while being at the police station, did not comply with the requirements of the security forces and used force against one of the policewomen, «as a result of which she caused bodily harm.»
According to Mediazona media outlet, this is a native of Kyrgyzstan, Asel Kadyrova. On February 13, Kadyrova was detained due to lack of registration, she was brought to the police department for Golovinsky district.
«During the photographing, policewoman Chaplygina demanded from Kadyrova to take off her headscarf, but the detainee refused. Chaplygina tried to tear off the headscarf from Kadyrova’s head, then the Kyrgyzstani hit and scratched the policewoman in response, tearing off her shoulder straps,» the statement says.
According to Baza Telegram channel, an ambulance was called to the police department. Doctors diagnosed Chaplygina with an abrasion on her palm and several hematomas.
