Kyrgyzstani Akzhol Makhmudov took the first place in the world ranking among Greco-Roman wrestlers in the weight category up to 77 kilograms. United World Wrestling (UWW) reports.
Akzhol Makhmudov won the World and Asian Championships, as well as the Islamic Games. According to the results of 2022, he took the second place in the world ranking.
He was also recognized as the best Greco-Roman wrestler in Asia last year.
