Director General of 24.kg news agency Asel Otorbaeva was summoned for interrogation by the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan. The interrogation will take place on February 6.
It is known that the Main Investigation Department of the State Committee for National Security received a statement against a material published on the website. The investigator noted that the head of the news agency was called in for questioning as a witness.
It should be noted that a journalist Ydyrys Isakov was interrogated by the police in Osh city last weekend.
Recall, an attempt to block 24.kg news agency’s website under the law of Gulshat Asylbaeva «On inaccurate (false) information» was made in August 2022.
