24 documents signed following visit of Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kyrgyzstan

At least 24 documents, aimed at building up Kyrgyz-Uzbek joint cooperation, were signed as a result of the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kyrgyzstan.

Sadyr Japarov and Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the Declaration on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.

In addition, the following documents have been adopted:

  • Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on cooperation in the field of prevention and elimination of emergency situations;
  • Protocol between the Customs Service of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the procedure for interaction in the field of exchange of data of customs statistics of mutual trade;
  • Protocol between the Customs Service of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on cooperation in the field of prevention, detection and suppression of suspicious financial transactions by participants in foreign economic activity;
  • Agreement on cooperation between the State Agency for Intellectual Property and Innovations of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
  • Agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of youth policy;
  • Agreement on cooperation between the Ministries of Energy of the two countries in the field of energy;
  • Agreement on the development of cooperation in the coal industry between the Ministries of Energy of the two states;
  • Agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the development of priority areas of industry;
  • Protocol on amendments to the Memorandum of Understanding between the Governments of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan on the establishment of a Council of authorized representatives of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in the border areas and khokims of the border regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 6, 2017;
  • Protocol on the exchange of instruments of ratification of the Treaty between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan on certain sections of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border, signed on November 3, 2022 in Bishkek;
  • Protocol on amendments and additions to the Agreement between the Governments of the two countries on mutual trips of citizens dated October 3, 2006;
  • Plan of joint events for a wide celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan;
  • Agreement on cooperation between the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in Issyk-Kul region of the Kyrgyz Republic and the khokimiyat of Jizzakh region of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres;
  • Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on cooperation in organizing the production of automotive and commercial vehicles in Kyrgyzstan;
  • Program of strategic trade and economic partnership between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2023-2025;
  • Cooperation agreement between the National Investment Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
  • Agreement between the Ministries of Agriculture on cooperation in the field of agriculture;
  • A comprehensive program to expand cooperation between the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in Issyk-Kul region and khokimiyat of Jizzakh region of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
  • A comprehensive program to expand cooperation between the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in Batken region and khokimiyat of Fergana region of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
  • A comprehensive program to expand cooperation between the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in Jalal-Abad region and khokimiyat of Namangan region of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
  • A comprehensive program to expand cooperation between the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in Osh region and khokimiyat of Andijan region of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
  • Memorandum of Understanding on the construction of Chatkal cascade of HPPs between the Ministries of Energy;
  • Draft cooperation agreement between TNK Dastan OJSC and TOSHELECTROAPPARAT LLC for the production of electric meters;
  • Draft agreement on cooperation between the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in Naryn region and the joint venture Baxodir Log’on Tekstil LLC in Fergana region (Uzbekistan).
