A meeting of the Presidents of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov and Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev began in Bishkek at Ala-Archa state residence.
A guard of honor was lined up to greet the heads of state, and the anthems of the two countries were played.
The leaders of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan greeted the members of the delegations. Shavkat Mirziyoyev stopped and discussed some issues with the Minister of Energy Taalaibek Ibrayev for some time. In addition, he briefly spoke with the Presidential Envoys to Osh region Ziyadin Zhamaldinov, Batken region Abdikarim Alimbaev and Jalal-Abad region Absattar Syrgabaev.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev introduced each member of the delegation of Uzbekistan to Sadyr Japarov.
