Cars produced in the Kyrgyz Republic will cost from $13,000. Farhatjon Dosmatov, director of DT Technik LLC, announced at a meeting of the Committee on Budget, Economic and Fiscal Policy.
Deputies discussed a draft agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and the Government of Uzbekistan on cooperation in organizing the production of automotive and commercial vehicles in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Farkhatjon Dosmatov noted that a plant for the production of cars would be built in Ak-Suu village, Moskovsky district, Chui region. «At the initial stage, we plan to produce Chevrolet and Isuzu commercial vehicles. The cost of cars will vary from $13,000 — cars, trucks — from $28,000. We are not raising tariffs, we are only asking to exempt the enterprise from taxes, to give an initial impetus, as it was in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan,» he said.
It should be noted that Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan have decided on the site for the construction of the new plant for the production of Uzbek passenger cars. The project will be implemented by Uzavtosanoat JSC from Uzbekistan, and DT Technik LLC and Nur JSC from Kyrgyzstan.
