Akylbek Japarov urges officials not to be indifferent to people's problems

The head of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan urged officials not to remain indifferent to the problems of the Kyrgyzstanis. Akylbek Japarov stated this, summing up the results of the meeting of the heads of regional state administrations and local government bodies.

«The main motto of the work of the Cabinet of Ministers, which was determined by the head of state, is to stand up for the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic on Kyrgyz soil. You are responsible for every citizen of the country, do not stand aside if you see lawlessness,» he said.

The head of the Cabinet called on his subordinates to abandon the tactics of ignoring requests. «This is not my area of responsibility when it comes to a resident of a particular region,» he said.

«We are ready to give you all the necessary powers. Every dead baby, every low-income family is your area of responsibility. Do not be indifferent to the problems of our citizens, work with conscience,» Akylbek Japarov called on local officials.

He also instructed:

• The Kyrgyz-Uzbek Development Fund to relocate its activities to Osh region;
• All development funds to conduct quarterly tours of the regions;
• The National Investment Agency to prepare an investment map of the country;
• To prepare a draft presidential decree on the development of national projects and popular initiatives;
• To select three districts for the implementation of a pilot project for integrated development, starting from the preparation of a master plan for development to the construction of roads and social facilities;
• To conduct an inventory of land resources in the context of villages and regions.
