Former deputy health minister Zharkynbek Kasymbekov was appointed to a new position as Director of the National Institute of Public Health. He confirmed the information to 24.kg news agency.
Zharkynbek Kasymbekov was introduced to the team on Thursday.
The National Institute of Public Health is a former research and production association Preventive Medicine. The status of «national» was assigned to it in December 2022.
Recall, Zharkynbek Kasymbekov served as acting head of the Ministry of Health from June 2022 until August 27, when Gulnara Baatyrova replaced him. He was dismissed from the post of deputy minister in December.
