A member of an organized crime group and a recidivist suspected of robbery were detained in Bishkek. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
«On January 18, in one of the cafes in the capital, three men, threatening with a gun and a knife, took away a smartphone and money from a 30-year-old citizen. The victim contacted the police. A criminal case was opened on the fact of the robbery,» the statement says.
33-year-old K.M., previously repeatedly convicted for robbery, extortion, who is on the operational register of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as an active member of the organized criminal group, and 32-year-old T.M., a resident of Issyk-Kul region, repeatedly convicted in Russia for robberies, were detained on suspicion of committing the crime.
The investigation continues. The police are identifying all those involved in the crime.
