A 19-year-old woman died after giving birth in Bishkek. Raisa Asylbasheva, Chief Specialist of the Department of Medical Assistance and Drug Policy of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan, confirmed this information to 24.kg news agency.
According to her, the young woman gave birth on January 3 at the Issyk-Ata General Medical Practice Center and was discharged on January 6 in a satisfactory condition. She was admitted to the National Surgical Center on January 11 in a serious condition and, unfortunately, died on Wednesday.
«A commission has been formed to conduct an internal investigation. All circumstances will be clarified,» Raisa Asylbasheva said.
The child is in a satisfactory condition.
